This filly seemed to find this grade too high when disappointing over this track a couple of starts ago but she looks to have improved again in the interim and could be worth chancing.
Ryan Sexton can only claim 3lb in this apprentice event but that still amounts to a gift, such is the talent of the young jockey
I believe that trying this filly over 7f is well worth a punt, especially on an easy track such as York. She had no problem staying the stiffest 6f in the country at Carlisle last time out.
I have been extremely impressed by Gemma Tutty’s placing of her string of mostly modest handicappers this season and am definitely happy to row in with one trying something new, especially at a price.

This mare missed the 2020 season and never really got going last year but seems to have come back in excellent form this term.
I was at Pontefract and made a note of her finishing well from off the pace in a competitive event on her reappearance and then almost missed her just four days later, when she made a quick return.
She travelled well off the pace on that occasion and came through to win very comfortably. She’s 5lb higher here but the form has been franked and she’s still well-in on her old form. She clearly gets on well with Laura Coughlan, who is again on board.
Is a bang in-form filly and looks set to go very well again over the July course, which seems sure to suit her prominent style of running.
William Buick, who rides so many winners at this track, is back on board, which is certainly a positive given that he was on her when she won by four lengths at Leicester on her penultimate start.
She improved again last time and is only 1lb higher. Laguna Veneta will be a strong favourite but looks by far the best option in this eight-runner field.
