Our pundit Dave Nevison kicks off his punting week with tips from around the grounds on Tuesday. Enjoy coverage from Wetherby, Kempton and Dundalk live on Racing TV and Racing TV Extra.

1.00 Hereford: Nazwa

He showed he could win a similar race to this when second on handicap debut last-time out.

Nazwa runs off the same mark here and steps up significantly in trip, which should be a positive judging by his pedigree. He was completely outclassed when he ran on similar ground to this at Chepstow behind Magistrato last month, but he still ran well and this company is much, much easier.

Trainer Oliver Sherwood is among the winners.

1.45 Wetherby: Oscar Robertson

Campaigned last season mainly over two and a half miles, he has always looked a stayer and looks ready for this step back up in trip.

Oscar Robertson wasn’t beaten far over what is now an inadequate trip on his return, and in what I think was a good race at Newbury last time. His trainer has presumably chosen this race instead of a return to Berkshire at the weekend where he is entered up and this looks an easier task despite having to carry top-weight. I think the hint should be taken.

Oscar Robertson disappointed when tried over three miles at Newcastle this time last year, but he didn’t run again for six months after that so presumably was wrong. He has been dropped 2lb for his comeback run and can now run back in the grade he last won in.

7.45 Kempton: La Hulotte

I think she may be interesting for a while.

La Hulotte has run two good races the only times she has run at this track and it could just be that she is better on an artificial surface (she has raced on very soft ground for some of her turf runs).

She certainly looked to be well-handicapped and suited by a step-up in trip when winning here last time and, now off a 5lb higher mark and over another furlong, may be set to improve again.

La Hulotte could be rated higher than this mark of 68 on her maiden effort last season, while both trainer and jockey have enjoyed excellent seasons and been seemingly in-form throughout.
