1.58 Nottingham: Farasan
Farasan has offered glimmers of hope in his first three runs to suggest that a switch to nursery company could be what he needs to get his head in front.
The John and Thady-Gosden-trained Teofilo colt was set a stiff task first time out when tasked with facing subsequent Group Two winner Desert Castle at Newmarket.
Although failing to see out seven furlongs on his most recent start at Kempton Park, he showed enough promise over a furlong shorter at the track when denied a clear run late on.
With the drop back to six furlongs a positive step, a bold run can be expected now placed in more suitable waters.
2.04 Salisbury: Meticulously (Nap)
Meticulously can build on an encouraging debut run by putting that experience to good use and striking gold on his second start.
Although sent of a relatively unfancied 20-1 chance at Leicester, the Ed Walker-trained colt stayed on well from the rear of the field, despite not having the clearest run to finish fourth
That effort was achieved with cut in the ground, so conditions should hold no issues, and with natural improvement it should see the son of Sioux Nation take a step forward.

2.33 Nottingham: Pacific Storm
An element of trust has to be taken that Pacific Storm can see out the marathon two-and-a quarter-mile trip, but if his stamina does last out he could take plenty of stopping.
In his three qualifying runs to date, the David Menuisier-trained Zarak gelding has failed to make any kind of impact, having been well-held in each of those starts.
However, the switch to handicap company could see him in a much better light off a mark of 59, which is further reduced by Jack Dace taking off a handy five pounds.
If the application of a first time visor can have the desired effect, Pacific Storm would not have to find much In a race that is full of fairly exposed individuals.
5.25 Salisbury: Treble Bass
Treble Bass looks well-placed to make a successful switch from novice contests into handicap company.
Although finishing one place behind the re-opposing Dialstone at Kempton two starts back, he showed signs of greenness on that occasion.
The Roger Varian-trained gelding shaped as if a step up in trip wouldn’t go amiss when looking more professional in second behind an odds-on shot at Newcastle last time out.
While soft ground his an unknown, there is hope he will handle it on his dam’s side, and if the one mile six furlong trip unlocks more improvement, it could see him turn tables on Dialstone, who he receives five pounds off.
