Top tipster Dave Nevison has three selections at Hayock, all live on Racing TV.
2.17 Haydock: Desperate Dan
Desperate Dan has twice won in October on very soft ground and looks to have a good chance of coming good again here.
Peter Chapple-Hyam has a much smaller string these days but his runners are in hot form with two winners already this month and Desperate Dan, having missed the fast ground in the summer, came back with a very promising run over this course and distance last month.
He has dropped a couple of pounds over the course of this season and looks well enough weighted to score under ideal conditions.

4.37 Haydock: Canon’s House (E/W)
City Captain is likely to be short here and with four places on offer I am happy to get involved each-way at much bigger odds.
Canon’s House is likely to be on the pace which is often advantageous at Haydock and the Easterby-trained gelding seemed to be revived by the application of blinkers at Southwell last time out.
He is now 6lb lower than his latest win and has been much higher in the weights, so is clearly handicapped to win again.
If the headgear has the desired effect for a second time, the five-year-old could easily find himself in a comfortable position on the lead here, and, if so, I don’t feel too many will get past him.
5.07 Haydock: Duran
Tom Marquand riding for Nigel Tinkler is not an everyday occurrence and his booking for Duran certainly takes the eye.
Duran was running well off higher marks at this time last year and definitely handles heavy ground.
He is much lower in the weights and signalled he was returning to form with a decent run on his penultimate start when seventh in a big field at York.
Hopefully a line can be put through his latest start as he reared on leaving the stalls, and this former course and distance winner is very interesting here.
