2.55 Ascot: Love Is (e/w)
Sioux Nation filly Love Is made a successful start to her career in a Windsor novice event during the spring, beating two subsequent winners to prevail by a length-and-three-quarters.
She then stuck on well to finish second to Night In Vegas at Goodwood, beaten only by a colt who went on to finish a length-and-a-half fifth to Great Barrier Reef in the Group Two Coventry Stakes.
Sent off at odds of 50-1 for the Albany Stakes, the Richard Hughes-trained filly couldn't make an impression but she may fare better in different circumstances here and could outrun her odds against the boys.
The €90,000 purchase has black-type in the family, related to 2000 Guineas runner-up Snow Ridge among other black-type achievers, and could be worth keeping onside at the early 12-1 available plus is entitled to show further improvement on only her fourth start having already shown promise.
4.05 Ascot: Flying Frontier (e/w)
Flying Frontier makes each-way appeal from a mark of 93 under Hector Crouch in this competitive mile-and-a-half handicap. He's 2lb lower than his last winning mark and is unexposed over this trip having been seen staying on well over two furlongs shorter in recent outings.
By Farhh out of Sinndar mare Alaia, the six-year-old is related to a number of effective middle-distance performers including Aliysa. He's still quite lightly-raced making only his 16th start, and should be capable of making his presence felt from his current rating.
One to note at the weights for James Tate, Flying Frontier could be worth keeping the faith in from a handy mark and could show further improvement on his return to this distance having already caught the eye this season.

5.58 Cork: Chicago Call (e/w)
Handicap debutante Chicago Call is an interesting contender for Johnny Murtagh in this 5f sprint. The yard has struggled for winners in recent weeks but many of their runners have been performing well in defeat and this three-year-old gelding could put in a bold bid in his first experience in this sphere.
The son of Oasis Dream has amassed plenty of valuable experience in tough races against talented opponents during his career so far, and was only narrowly denied at Listed level last autumn. He finished fourth to Coppull in the Richmond Stakes as a juvenile, whilst also featuring in Stakes races won by the likes of Mission Central and Charles Darwin, plus a Naas maiden won by Albert Einstein.
In calmer waters here, Chicago Call could pose a threat from a mark of 93 under Ben Coen, and could provide his stable with a welcome winner at Mallow.
7.15 York: Tough Enough (e/w)
Six-year-old gelding Tough Enough is seeking a first win in almost three years, now 19lb lower than his last winning mark, but has been able to perform from a higher rating in recent seasons and shouldn't be discounted each-way if able to enjoy a favourable trip.
Trained by Antony Brittain, the son of Showcasing was beaten only a length-and-three-quarters at odds of 40-1 in his second start for the yard last year, when rated 84, and found only one rival too good when second at 18-1 following a break at Southwell from a 5lb higher mark earlier this year.
On a rating of 68 currently, Tough Enough has fallen to a lenient mark and has shown he still retains ability. If able to perform anywhere near his recent best efforts, he should be capable of making his presence felt under 3lb claiming Alex Jary.
