Free horse racing tips for Monday: Bolt looks secure choice

Ayr and Cartmel keep the show on the road in Britain on Monday with temperatures at both tracks forecast to be nowhere near as extreme as elsewhere.
The Racing TV cameras will also capture the evening Flat action at Ballinrobe, where Willie Mullins and Colin Keane team up with Youmdor in the extended 1m4f handicap at 8.05pm.
Youmdor has been absent since running at the Cheltenham Festival last year but fitness is unlikely to be an issue, and a mark of 83 may well underestimate him.
Talking of Keane, he will end the week back on Westover in the King George at Ascot, where he has had zero winners from 46 rides. It's a funny old game at times, although I doubt Rob Hornby (officially lost the ride at The Curragh because of Keane's greater track record there) sees the funny side just now.
My four fancies on Monday will be in action in Scotland. Best of luck.
3.00 Ayr: Dick Datchery
He’s named after the character in Charles Dickens’ The Mystery Of Edwin Drood and has himself proved something of a riddle, with his rating sliding from 82 to 49 in the past two years without many hints of a revival.
However, money arrived for him from out of the blue here a fortnight ago and, as my colleague Fran Berry has said in the past, he improved for the application of cash. He mastered Elladora, the favourite, in the closing stages with the pair drawing well clear of the rest.
That was Dick Datchery’s third win at Ayr (he has yet to win anywhere else) and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent him following up now that he’s got back in the groove. Kilconquhar is feared most, although he seems best served by the stiffer demands of Hamilton.
4.10 Ayr: Quest For Fun - NON-RUNNER

16:10 Ayr - Monday July 4
This £30,000 contest is something of a re-run of the 6f handicap run over course and distance a fortnight ago (watch above) in which Quest For Fun collared Aberama Gold in the closing stages with Call Me Ginger (third), Summer Sands (fourth) and Black Friday (sixth) further back.
There should again be little between the first three at the revised weights but the lightly raced Quest For Fun did well to get up given the way the race unfolded and, still improving, he is fancied to again come out on top.
He had previously also been strong at the finish when beating Ghathanfar and Lovely Mana at Thirsk. That pair have both since won twice, so his form has a glow.
4.45 Ayr: Brazen Bolt
John Quinn’s five-year-old is most reliable and ran a lot better than the bare form suggests in a competitive 6f heat at York last time when he finished unplaced but was first home on his part of the track.
This is an easier assignment and a reproduction of either of his previous efforts, when going close at Doncaster and Newmarket, should suffice. The yard took last year’s renewal with a similar type in Poet’s Magic.
Incidentally, Quinn is one short of 50 winners at Ayr (Flat and jumps) and you would be showing a profit of £46.36 if you had previously had £1 on all his previous 324 runners at the track.
5.15 Ayr: Yaaser
This step up to a mile is a slight niggle for Yaaser but the gallop is unlikely to be testing - there are no habitual front-runners in the line-up - and stamina seems unlikely to be at a premium.
The four-year-old has been in fine form over 7f, winning at Musselburgh and here in late May before three near-misses at the same tracks.
He’s been nudged up 2lb since his close fourth here last time but that may not bne enough to prevent Pau Mulrennan smuggling him ahead in the closing stages.
