Limerick racegoers could be in for a treat on day one of the Christmas Festival with Mighty Potter likely to go there after his stunning success in Sunday's John Durkan as well as stablemate Gerri Colombe.
The Limerick card will form part of the busiest day of the year on Racing TV, with the Guinness Faugheen Novice Chase the track's only Grade 1 of the season and a race that is already hugely appealing for horses not heading to Leopardstown.
Mighty Potter has entries in Leopardstown's Brand New Racing Post App Novice Chase and Neville Hotels Novice Chase but is likely to stay going right-handed and over a similar trip to the one he enjoyed on Sunday.
Elliott has seven entries in Limerick's big one on December 26 but told Racing TV: "It's obviously some way off at this stage but I'm looking to run Gerri Colombe as well as Mighty Potter at Limerick."
Gerri Colombe has won all his starts, from a point to point to a bumper to two hurdle races to a smooth chase win at Fairyhouse last month.
Limerick's racecourse manager and former jockey Tom Rudd said: "Limerick goes hand in hand with Christmas and we're delighted to have the makings of a cracking race in our showpiece race over the Christmas.
"Ruby Walsh still talks about the roar Faugheen got when he was riding the same day at Kempton when he won the race at Limerick and it's an honour to name it after Faugheen."
An unforgettable day as Faugheen wins the big one at Limerick days before turning 12
