Dundalk Stadium has announced a sponsorship deal with South Africa-based bookmaker Hollywoodbets for quarter four of 2020 at the Co Louth venue, Ireland’s only all-weather racetrack.
Established in 1986, South African-based Hollywoodbets began as a company called Winning Form, publishing and distributing horse racing form guides.
They opened their first branch in South Africa in 2000 before establishing an online business in 2006.
In South Africa they have naming rights sponsorship of both the Greyville and Scottsville racetracks, with Hollywoodbets Greyville being the home to South Africa’s most prestigious race, the Group 1 Vodacom Durban July Handicap.
Jim Martin told Racing TV about the new arrangement with Hollywood Bets With 24 fixtures still remaining in Dundalk's schedule this year, at-home afficionados of racing at the track are in for an action-packed time for the rest of the year.
Brand and Communications Manager for Hollywoodbets, Devin Heffer, explained how excited the company is to come on board with the sponsorship.
“Hollywoodbets is known for its massive presence in the horse racing community in South Africa. So, we are thrilled to be able to extend our support to the
Dundalk Stadium in Ireland," he said.
"We are hoping that this brings great opportunities for both our company and the stadium. We look forward to this new relationship and are excited to see what the future has in store."
