Dave Nevison's Tuesday tips: "He looks set to go close"

Top tipster Dave Nevison takes aim at the all-weather action at Wolverhampton on Tuesday and reveals his three best bets.

5.25 Wolverhampton: Gemmari
This Richard Hannon-trained gelding has been improving rapidly on the all-weather and won two handicaps early last year. He hit form again last time out and looked impressive when winning by over six lengths at Chelmsford in January.
He has been raised 8lb, which is the least he could have expected, and it may well turn out to be lenient. A horse who wins races coming from off the pace will be well suited by what looks set to be a strongly-run contest, and Gemmari appeared ideally suited by 1m6f last time out.
I think he will strike again here, despite the two-month absence.
6.30 Wolverhampton: Dicko The legend
Dicko The Legend’s past two victories included one over this course and distance, and his wins have come in much stronger handicaps than this, so he could well take advantage of the drop in grade.
He returned from a five-month break last time out and ran well, although definitely looked rusty. He was typically slow out of the stalls, but briefly got himself into a threatening position before weakening without coming under pressure.
The six-year-old can be expected to come on markedly for that effort, and looks set to go close once more having been dropped 2lb following that outing.
7.30 Wolverhampton: The Dark Baron
The Dark Baron has been a model of consistency since he won two modest handicaps last year, and has been placed on his past five starts, despite creeping higher up the handicap.
However, he probably needs to do something different to score, and I think trainer Kathy Turner has made a sensible move by dropping The Dark Baron down in trip.
The selection races keenly, and invariably is always on the pace, so might be well suited by going from the front in this 7f handicap. Stall three might well help him get into pole position, too.
