Top tipster Dave Nevison shares his three best bets on Tuesday, with selections at Musselburgh and Stratford - both live on Racing TV.
3.45 Musselburgh: Florida Dreams
Florida Dreams is starting out in Flat handicaps at the age of nine and might be well enough handicapped on his first attempt.
Sandy Thomson has given him three runs in maidens so far and I can only assume the drop down to a completely unsuitable distance last time was to preserve his opening mark.
He has run well enough to suggest he could win a race off a mark of 70, especially now he is stepped up to a trip over twice the distance he last ran off.
Florida Dreams has run in very competitive handicap hurdles for a good while, but is vulnerable to up and coming types in those races, so hopefully the Flat can bring about an overdue win.
4.15 Musselburgh: Edmond Halley
Edmond Halley is well overdue a return to seven furlongs (not raced over this trip since his debut) as his dam won races at up to a mile and he has struggled to win over sprint trips.
Ed Bethell’s gelding has had excuses on his last two starts, meeting trouble and having to be switched in the straight at Catterick last time.
He is usually patiently ridden, and hopefully Oisin Orr can conserve his energy and use the speed Edmond Halley does have to beat some exposed types.

6.45 Stratford: Dream Jet
Dream Jet won his novice hurdle over this course and distance, but has pretty much been kept to fences ever since showing only a modest level of form.
Brian Ellison has sent him back over hurdles off a very modest mark and, perhaps significantly, has applied cheekpieces, which will hopefully sharpen him up a little. He is definitely well enough weighted if he takes to the track once more.
