A quiet start to the week for me but I’ll be combining the trio below in an each-way Trixie and hoping we can at least get all three in the frame.
6.30 Chelmsford: Baldomero
Looks another likely winner for The Horsewatchers. The six-year-old returned from a summer break and has run two very good races, getting beat narrowly last time at Kempton.
We will certainly be getting a run for our money from stall one as he runs his best races when leading or in the front rank and will have few challengers for the early pace here.
Baldamero has been a while without a win and runs off roughly the same handicap mark all the time, but will rarely have had more in his favour than here.
7.30 Chelmsford: Street Parade
Will be finishing better than any of these and has a fine opportunity to make up for what looked like an unlucky defeat last time out.
He runs off the same mark over course and distance with the excellent David Egan taking over.
He has spent most of the season struggling but has hit form off a mark now 10lb lower than for his last win. He looks ready to land another victory.
8.00 Chelmsford: Kentucky Kingdom
Joe Leavy has been getting plenty of rides for several different trainers so certainly looks to have a bright future and he has definitely formed a good relationship with Kentucky Kingdom, winning twice on him recently.
Both those wins came at Lingfield, but he has also won over Tuesday’s course and distance. Kentucky Kingdom won off a mark of 67 last year, and lines up off 65 here. He looks the safest option in a tight handicap.
