2.20 Ayr: Reinforce

Reinforce has yet to win a race but to be fair (maybe that is generous) he has not had an awful lot go right for him up to now.
He has certainly not excelled in several runs at Dundalk but has had a few gaps and might have needed a few of his races and has taken a couple of bumps in others.
Reinforce has been rated 80 on turf in the past but is now down to just 52. He has had three runs for Katy Brown and they have followed a similar pattern.
He was hampered when beaten just over a length at Wolverhampton off a mark of 57 and went very wide under a very inexperienced 10lb claimer next time but the signs were promising last time when he ran sixth at Dundalk. He is interesting back on turf here.

3.17 Redcar: Kyber Crystal

The five-year-old mare, trained by Alexandra Dunn for the past two seasons, has dropped from a mark of 71 to Thursday’s basement mark of 47, so Rebecca Menzies clearly has a well-handicapped horse if she can get the mare back to her early form.
She had excuses last time at Brighton and her penultimate effort, when beaten 1¾ lengths into fifth, was a reasonable effort.
She has gone OK on soft ground in the past and claiming rider Morgan Cole has ridden her in the past. She may well be worth chancing to come back to form here.
6.25 Chelmsford: Egoiste

David Menuisier has his team in excellent form and Egoiste can overcome a wide draw to complete the hat trick here.
The five-year-old has fluffed his lines a couple of times this year but looks like he is improving at a rate of knots.
He should get the strong pace he needs, which might mean he is not too inconvenienced by the draw in stall 9. If he finishes as well as last time out when he won by four lengths he could be able to defy an 8lb rise. Kyle Strydom has ridden him to his past two victories and keeps the ride.
