Valedictory can stay on a roll in a race the yard has won with Trawlerman and Sweet William in recent years.
His Time Index was 8.8 when the meeting average was 5.9 when winning over course and distance in May, and the Cracksman gelding reeled off three successive fast final furlongs when scoring at Newmarket last time.

FSP last year: 111.67% (best)
Furlongs 10-12 last year: all “very fast”
Waardah beat Danielle and Goodie Two Shoes in the Lillie Langtry last year and can repeat the dose.
She unleashed three very fast furlongs after halfway to move into contention 12 months ago and her mix of speed and stamina can again be decisive. The daughter of Postponed limbered up for her defence by beat all bar Estrange at Carlisle last time.
3.35 GOODWOOD: MITBAAHY

Newbury FSP: 102.59% (best)
0-20mph in Wokingham: slowest of all
Mitbaahy was obliged to play catch up after being last to reach 20mph in the 27-runner Wokingham in June.
However, he came home powerfully to finish fifth and was similarly stong in the closing stages when runner-up at Newbury last time. He is 3lb well in and Jamie Spencer, the last jockey to have won on him, is reunited with him.
