Constitution Hill suffered his second fall in succession as he crashed out at the second last in the William Hill Aintree Hurdle, with his main market rival, , claiming the Grade One prize and completing a four-timer for Willie Mullins at Aintree.
Nicky Henderson's star hurdler had travelled well throughout the race and looked to be full of running turning for home before suffering traffic problems as Lossiemouth cruised into contention having been held up.
Constitution Hill was poised to challenge when falling, but made Lossiemouth's task much easier as she got the better of Martin Pipe winner Wodhooh.
Thankfully, Constitution Hill got up OK after his mishap and galloped loose up the straight. Nico de Boinville also got to his feet.
