Cheltenham Festival day one preview: "She has everything in her favour"

Racing TV's Danny Archer is joined by Tom Stanley and Jake Price to preview all the action on day one of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival in the Coral Cheltenham Formbook show.

In the first episode of our series focusing on the Cheltenham Festival, host Danny Archer is joined by Jake Price and Tom Stanley to look at every race on the opening day of the four-day bonanza at Prestbury Park.

You can expect plenty of strong views and top tips from the team, with a full preview of each race covered, and best bets revealed at the end of the show.  

Jake believes his day one nap "has got absolutely everything in her favour", while Tom Stanley is hoping to get the meeting off to a flyer having made a strong case for his selection in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle. Danny also likes the look of a contender chalked up at 7-1 with Coral for the day one finale.
