Bridget Andrews suffers dramatic fall from Stick To The Plan at Southwell

Tue 3 Oct 2017

In-running punters struck out at Southwell when Bridget Andrews was unseated from Stick To The Plan after the last flight in the 188Bet Novices' Hurdle.

The Dan Skelton-trained 7-4 favourite jumped the last fine but Andrews lost an iron before regaining it.

However, with less than 50 yards to the line, the jockey became unbalanced, lost the iron again and was unseated.

The fortunate winner was Nemean Lion (9-1).
