So Celebre made it back-to-back victories when pulling out plenty to claim the Mitie Events & Leisure Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Ascot.
Having got off the mark over hurdles at the third attempt of asking last time out at Huntingdon, the four-year-old showed his potential when successfully taking a step up in class.
Always travelling well in the hands of Jamie Moore, the Ian Williams-trained 9-1 shot hit the front before the final flight before holding the rallying Dolos by two and three-quarter lengths.
Moore said: "He is a horse I liked after Huntingdon. He travelled really well today. He just tired on me inside the last 100 yards.
"Two miles is probably his trip. He will give the owners a bit of fun back on the Flat. He is a nice type and Ian Williams is having a good year."
