Top presenter and analyst Angus McNae shares his best bet at the Curragh, plus his three best bets for Pontefract's Sky Bet Sunday Series finale, with both meetings live on Racing TV.
3.45 Pontefract: Varzi
Varzi made an encouraging debut at York when finishing second to Cut A Dash, who went on to finish an excellent fourth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He posted a big speed figure for a debutante last time and, given that Karl Burkes's two year olds often come on for their first start, there could be plenty more to come from him.
4.45 Pontefract: Sing The Blues
Sing The Blues put up the best time performance on day one of the Qatar Goodwood Festival and in garnering a RaceiQ Time Index score of 9.1 out of 10 (meeting average 7.1) showed herself to be worthy of a step up in grade. She looks overpriced.

4.55 Curragh: Concorde Landed
Ger Lyons has won this Listed contest four times in the last ten years and can do so again with Concorde Landed.
This horse appeared on The Verdict when winning on debut by five lengths at Naas, but failed to repeat that effort on his second start where he raced a bit too keenly.
His latent potential remains intact and the fitting of a first time hood will help him settle. I am prepared to give him another chance.
6.45 Pontefract: Alfa Whiteburd
Alfa Whiteburd has racked up a hat-trick out of nowhere, and the clock suggests that he is capable of defying a 5lb rise here.
He was always in control when making all to win here last time and Jason Hart retains the ride at a track where he has an excellent strike rate of 23.08%. That win rate equates to him performing well above market expectations at the track with an A/E of 1.76.
