The Racing TV presenter is showing a profit of over £150 based on £1 bets since May last year and marks your card for today's racing action.
There is no live racing action on Racing TV today due to the abandonment of Leicester but make sure you tune in for The Verdict where I will be looking back on some tremendous action from the past seven days with John O’Connell.
Here are my four bets bets for today’s racing action at Southwell and Wolverhampton. Best of luck.
This filly is a really consistent individual and was a cosy winner last time out. She travelled well off a strong pace that day and only had to be pushed out to win with something in hand.
That was her first ever success and, now that she has finally got her head in front, there could be scope for a bit of improvement.
This is not a strong contest and as long as she gets a reasonable pace to aim at, she should go close.
Despite a wide draw, I am going to take a chance on this lightly-raced son of Dubawi. He won his maiden on turf but has recorded a decent placed effort at Kempton, so the surface should not be an issue.
I like the fact that he was really well backed last time out in a stronger handicap than this but he was always on the back foot after rearing in the stalls. Clearly a big run was expected and, in this weaker contest, he can make up for that disappointing effort.
At a general 5-1, he rates as decent value.
This horse is beginning to look well handicapped now and a return to his favourite track should see him go close here.
He has run five times at this track and has won on three of those occasions. His trainer, Mick Appleby, has his horses in tremendous form and Southwell is a track where he does particularly well.
There has been money for this horse already, but the 9-2 that is available is still fair.
Restive can complete a double for Mick Appleby at Southwell. This horse bolted up over this course and distance last time and he seemed to relish the surface as he travelled strongly and won with consummate ease.
He has paid a price for that victory as he has gone up 10lb in the handicap, but he has a great chance of defying that rise if he reproduces that effort.
At 6-1, he should be supported to win again.
