1. The Racing TV “
It’s a Punchestown Knockout” predictor game (“the Game”) offers entrants the chance to win a £/€50 free bet with Paddy Power (“the Prize”) on each day of the 2022 Punchestown Festival. The Game is sponsored by Paddy Power, part of the Flutter Group.
2. The competition is accessible on
racingtv.com/knockout (“the Webpage”).
3. The Game is open to UK and Irish residents only, who are aged 18 years and over and have a registered player account with Paddy Power at the time of submitting an entry (“Eligible Entrants”).
4. One entry is permitted per Eligible Entrant, and no more than two per household.
5. To complete their entry, Eligible Entrants must visit the Webpage, enter correct information as required on the entry form and select a horse to win in seven head-to-head races as selected by the Promoter on each day during the Punchestown Festival (i.e. there will be one game on each day of the Punchestown Festival). The Promoter advises all Eligible Entrants to keep a written record (or screen shot) of their selections as they will not receive an email confirmation or notification of their selections on the day of submission of the entry.
6. Only entries completed and submitted before the first race on each day of the Punchestown Festival (i.e. before 3.40pm from 26 April to 29 April 2022 inclusive and before 2.30pm on 30 April 2022) will be valid. Any entries received after this time will be valid and will not be eligible for a Prize. Eligible Entrants will receive an email confirming whether they have been successful or not in winning a Prize the day after submitting an entry.
7. If Eligible Entrants correctly predict all seven head-to-head race winners on a given day during the Punchestown Festival and complete and submit their entries via the Webpage in accordance with these terms and conditions, then they will be entitled to a Prize.
8. In the event of a non-runner in a race then both selections in that race will be deemed to have won.
9. In the event a horse falls or pulls up in a race then the number of obstacles cleared will decide the outcome of the head-to-head race. In the event that both horses clear the same number of fences/hurdles then both selections will be deemed to have won that race.
10. Free bet stake not included in any subsequent winnings.
11. The Prize will be credited within 48 hours of the end of a Game (as applicable) to the Paddy Power account of the Eligible Entrant who has correctly predicted all seven head-to-head races in the Game during a given day of the Punchestown Festival.
12. If a winner cannot be contacted or credited by 31 May 2022 then the Prize will be forfeited.
13. The Prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
14. The Promoter has the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or withdraw this offer if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the Game is not capable or is likely not to be capable of being conducted fairly o as specified within these terms and conditions doe to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Game
15. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time for a number of reasons, including in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations. The Promoter also reserves the right in its reasonable discretion not to allow individual Paddy Power account holders to take part in this Promotion.
16. Proof of making an entry does not constitute proof of receipt by the Promoter. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the promoter does not accept any entries which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected. All decisions of the Promoter in respect of the Game are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Game and Prize.
17. The Promoter and its sponsor partner (Paddy Power) reserve the right to check the validity and identity of any entrant and to refuse entry or refuse giving the Prize if the Promoter reasonably considers the entry and/or a winner to be in breach of the terms and conditions or that any entrant has acted contrary to the requirement of good faith.
18. Employees/personnel of Racing TV and Flutter Group are not eligible to enter the Predictor Competition.
19. By participating in the Game, each entrant agrees to be bound by, and are deemed to have read and understood, these Terms and Conditions.
20. These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (unless the entrant is a Scottish or Northern Irish resident in which case he/she may choose the law of their residence) and Eligible Entrants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (unless the Eligible Entrant is a Scottish or Northern Irish resident in which case he/she may choose the courts of their residence) in relation to any claim or dispute relating in any way to the Game.
