Our presenter and Irish racing expert Johnny Ward thinks Gordon Elliott could have another successful day at the Festival on Wednesday. Enjoy every moment from Cheltenham live on Racing TV.
Was there a better day's racing anywhere than the first day of Cheltenham?
It had absolutely everything. I won no money but who cares?
If Tuesday were not enough, how good is the Ballymore to open day two?
Everyone at Closutton has been purring about the unbeaten Impaire Et Passe, while the similarly flawless Hermes Allen may not even go off second-favourite because Gaelic Warrior, who has won his three starts this season by over 100 lengths, also goes here.
You've a horse, Good Land, who Barry Connell believes will win at 13-2. And you can back a horse who was challenging for favouritism in the Champion Bumper last year, American Mike, at 40-1!
And that's just for starters. Be lucky.
2.10 Cheltenham: Gerri Colombe
I am a shade surprised this horse hasn't shortened given the state of the ground, which surely helps his chance. He's actually unexposed at this trip but he's never been beaten and I can't find a hole in him, including the price he's at now.
4.50 Cheltenham: Coeur Sublime
I can't believe I am tipping this horse, but bookmakers are paying six places and I've gone from mocking someone who gave the horse a good word at a preview night to putting my neck on the line here - which Coeur Sublime might even do too as I felt he battled quite well at Naas even when beaten last time.
He was second in the 2019 Triumph so he can handle Cheltenham and he has all the class in the world if he can be smothered up here by his excellent young rider.
5.30 Cheltenham: Better Days Ahead
I backed Ferny Hollow in this a few years ago, but generally I have a poor record in it and like to back one at a decent price.
The rain is a big help for Better Days Ahead and, while Jamie Codd was not shouting loudly about his chance at Thurles on Monday, he's a 14-1 chance and he reminds me a bit of the same connections' American Mike, who ran so well in the race last year.
It's surely a record for one trainer to have ten runners, but I'm against you here Mr Mullins.## Cheltenham Festival tips for Wednesday:
